After nearly four years with Coinbase, Duff Gordon has joined OpenAI as the head of EMEA Policy, as disclosed by a company spokesperson. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent 8.5 years working in banking at Credit Suisse.
He was unavailable for comment at the time of inquiry. As an expert in cryptocurrency regulations, Duff Gordon had previously highlighted the issue of UK banks restricting access to compliant services for millions of customers, failing to differentiate between low-risk, FCA-registered firms and higher-risk operators.
