The Aave community has voted in favor of the 'Aave Will Win' proposal, a framework that redirects 100% of revenue from Aave-branded products back to the DAO and consolidates economic rights under the AAVE token. This move marks the end of a months-long fight over protocol revenue control, which began when swap fees were redirected away from the DAO treasury. The proposal, deemed the most important in Aave's history, approves a $25 million stablecoin grant and 5,000 AAVE token allocation to Aave Labs and positions the DAO as the primary funding body for Aave Labs' activities. The Aave DAO, a community-run decision-making body, will now oversee the protocol's revenue, which reached $140 million in 2025.

The 'Aave Will Win' proposal aims to make Aave fully token-centric, with a single asset and model, and has introduced measures to prevent 'value leakage' and promote transparency. The community has also outlined plans for technical improvements, including the expansion of collateral options and the investment in AI infrastructure for developers building on Aave.

With roughly $25 billion in total value locked, Aave is poised to become a leading financial network, with a target of scaling to $1 trillion.
