Tom Duff Gordon, who served as the vice president of international policy at Coinbase, a prominent US-based cryptocurrency platform, has made the decision to leave the company. Following nearly four years at Coinbase, Duff Gordon has joined OpenAI as the head of EMEA Policy, as stated by a Coinbase representative via email. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent approximately 8.5 years working in banking at Credit Suisse.

He has not responded to requests for comment at this time. As an expert in cryptocurrency regulations, Duff Gordon recently highlighted the issue of UK banks restricting access to legal and compliant services for millions of customers, due to their failure to differentiate between low-risk operators registered with the Financial Conduct Authority and those posing a higher risk.
