After nearly four years with Coinbase, Duff Gordon has joined OpenAI as the head of EMEA Policy, as stated by a Coinbase spokesperson. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent 8.5 years in banking at Credit Suisse.
He was unavailable for comment at the time of inquiry. As an expert in crypto regulations, Duff Gordon had recently highlighted the issue of UK banks restricting access to compliant services for millions of customers, due to their failure to differentiate between low-risk, FCA-registered firms and higher-risk operators.
