Tom Duff Gordon, Vice President of International Policy at Coinbase, a prominent US-based cryptocurrency platform, has parted ways with the company. After nearly four years with Coinbase, Duff Gordon has taken on a new role as Head of EMEA Policy at OpenAI, as confirmed by a Coinbase representative. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent 8.5 years in banking at Credit Suisse.

As a specialist in cryptocurrency regulations, Duff Gordon had previously highlighted the issue of UK banks restricting access to lawful and compliant services for millions of customers, due to their failure to differentiate between low-risk, FCA-registered firms and higher-risk operators.
