Tom Duff Gordon, who served as the vice president of international policy at Coinbase, a prominent US-listed cryptocurrency platform, has made the decision to leave the company. Following nearly four years at Coinbase, Duff Gordon has transitioned to a new role as head of EMEA Policy at OpenAI, as disclosed by a Coinbase spokesperson via email. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon accumulated over 8.5 years of experience working in banking at Credit Suisse.

He has not yet responded to a request for comment on his recent career move. As an expert in cryptocurrency regulations, Duff Gordon previously highlighted the issue of UK banks restricting access to legal and compliant services for millions of customers, due to their failure to differentiate between low-risk operators registered with the Financial Conduct Authority and those posing a higher risk.
