Tom Duff Gordon, who served as the vice president of international policy at Coinbase, a prominent U.S.-listed cryptocurrency platform, has parted ways with the company. After nearly four years at Coinbase, Duff Gordon has taken on a new role as head of EMEA Policy at OpenAI, according to a statement from a Coinbase representative. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent over eight years working in banking at Credit Suisse.

Despite his expertise in cryptocurrency regulations, Duff Gordon was unavailable for comment. Notably, he recently highlighted the issue of U.K. banks restricting access to lawful and compliant services due to their inability to differentiate between low-risk, Financial Conduct Authority-registered firms and higher-risk entities.
