The recent advancements in quantum computing have sparked concerns about the potential risks to blockchain networks. Experts suggest that XRP's architecture may provide better protection against these risks compared to Bitcoin. XRP operates on the XRP Ledger, a decentralized and open-source blockchain, which allows for key rotation and escrow features that can help mitigate quantum threats.

A recent audit found that around 300,000 XRP accounts, holding approximately 2.4 billion XRP, have never sent any funds and are therefore quantum-safe by default. In contrast, Bitcoin's lack of key rotation feature and larger proportion of vulnerable accounts make it more susceptible to quantum attacks.

While Bitcoin developers are working on proposals to develop quantum resistance, XRP's existing features may provide an advantage in terms of security.
