With a $1 million subsidy, the program aims to reduce financial barriers that have historically prevented many teams from conducting comprehensive audits.
This initiative is part of the foundation's Trillion Dollar Security Initiative, focusing on strengthening Ethereum as it scales. The program connects builders with over 20 top-tier audit firms and introduces the 'CROPS principles' framework, which emphasizes censorship resistance, open source, privacy, and security. Builders can apply for subsidies, which are reviewed by an expert committee and can be used for audit services through a dedicated platform. The program is open to all Ethereum mainnet developers, regardless of project size or stage.
