The rise of quantum computing has sparked concerns about the security of legacy blockchains. However, experts believe that XRP's architecture provides better protection against quantum threats than Bitcoin's.

This is largely due to the XRP Ledger's features, such as key rotation, which allows users to change their signing key without moving funds, and escrow, which locks funds for a specified period. According to a recent audit, around 300,000 XRP accounts holding 2.4 billion XRP have never sent any funds and are therefore quantum-safe by default.

In contrast, Bitcoin's blockchain lacks a key rotation feature, leaving holders more vulnerable to quantum attacks. Approximately 6.9 million BTC, or nearly 35% of Bitcoin's circulating supply, are potentially at risk, compared to just 0.03% of XRP's supply.
