After nearly four years with Coinbase, Duff Gordon has joined OpenAI as the head of EMEA Policy, as disclosed by a Coinbase representative. Prior to his tenure at Coinbase, Duff Gordon spent over eight years working in banking at Credit Suisse. He has yet to comment on his new role.
As an expert in cryptocurrency regulations, Duff Gordon had recently highlighted the issue of UK banks restricting access to lawful and compliant services for millions of customers, due to their failure to differentiate between low-risk, Financial Conduct Authority-registered firms and higher-risk operators.
