The emergence of quantum computing has sparked concerns about the potential risks it poses to legacy blockchains. However, experts suggest that XRP's architecture may be more resilient to these threats compared to Bitcoin.

XRP operates on the XRP Ledger, a decentralized, open-source blockchain, and its design includes features such as key rotation and escrow, which can help mitigate the risks associated with quantum attacks. A recent audit found that around 300,000 XRP accounts, holding approximately 2.4 billion XRP, have never sent any funds and are therefore quantum-safe by default.

In contrast, Bitcoin's blockchain lacks a key rotation feature, making it more vulnerable to quantum attacks. While Bitcoin developers have proposed several solutions to address this issue, XRP's existing features may provide it with a temporary advantage in terms of quantum resistance.
