The recent advancements in quantum computing have sparked concerns about the potential risks to blockchain security. Experts believe that XRP's architecture provides better protection against quantum attacks than Bitcoin's.

This is due to the XRP Ledger's features, such as key rotation and escrow, which reduce the exposure of XRP holders to quantum threats. A recent audit found that around 300,000 XRP accounts, holding 2.4 billion XRP, have never sent any funds and are therefore quantum-safe by default. In contrast, Bitcoin's blockchain is more vulnerable, with approximately 6.9 million BTC at risk, equivalent to nearly 35% of its circulating supply. While Bitcoin developers are working on proposals to develop quantum resistance, XRP's existing features provide an added layer of security for its holders.
